Rape survivor: “my daughter is the rainbow after the storm”

A woman who is raising a daughter conceived in rape says:

“My little girl is now three years old and she is the most beautiful girl in the world!  We are (age appropriately) honest with her.  She knows that her Daddy didn’t make her, but he chose her.

She is not a “rape baby.”  She is MY baby.  She is the baby of a rape victim, and she is worthy of life.  Children like her should not be punished for the crimes of their fathers.

My daughter is truly the rainbow after the storm.”

Abortion worker: if you wanted this baby, you wouldn’t be crying

Author Bayla Ostrach interviewed abortion workers and women seeking abortions. She wrote about an abortion clinic worker named Jorge. Jorge “counseled” women who were ambivalent about going through with their abortions. Ostrach writes that Jorge:

“routinely tells women “if this were a pregnancy you could continue, you wouldn’t be here crying, right?”

Former Vice President Joe Biden admits life begins at conception

Although former Vice President Biden always voted in favor of abortion, he admitted in an interview that he knew human life begins at conception. According to an article in The National Review:

“I’m prepared to accept that at the moment of conception there’s human life and being, but I am not prepared to say that to other God-fearing [and] non-God-fearing people that have a different view. Abortion is always wrong.

All the principles of my faith, [which] I make no excuse for attempting to live up to – I don’t all the time. But I’m not prepared to impose doctrine that I’m prepared to accept on the rest of [the country].”

Joel Gehrke “Joe Biden: “Abortion Is Always Wrong” National Review September 22, 2015

If “there is a human being at conception”, abortion is killing that human being. Biden is therefore admitting that he supports killing human beings.

Post-Abortion woman: Why am I grieving?

From post-abortion woman Linda Cochrane:

“If abortion is so right, why am I feeling guilty and seeking help from psychiatrists and feminist therapists?

If abortion is so right, why am I needing increased amounts of alcohol and drugs to numb the pain?

If abortion is so right, why am I so depressed that I think of suicide as a way out?

If abortion isn’t the death of a baby, why was I grieving?”

Rape survivor: my baby provided healing and growth

Louise, who gave birth to a baby conceived through rape:

“Innocent life came from one man’s intent to hurt me. But my baby hasn’t hurt me. She’s provided me with healing and growth and new experiences that I never knew could happen in my life. So she’s not going to pay for what one man’s intentions were.

When people say abortion is needed in cases of rape, I feel that is very unfair. If your body has already started to create life, undoing that process seems very detrimental.

I’m so grateful I made the decision to have my daughter, because she’s brought me so much joy. Every day I wake up to a beautiful smile, and had I not made that decision, I would have been left with just a disaster on my heart.”

Mothers have “no right” to have disabled children, says Planned Parenthood founder

From Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood:

“No matter how much they desire children, no man and woman have a right to bring into the world those who are to suffer from mental or physical affliction.

It condemns the child to a life of misery and places upon the community the burden of caring for it, probably for its defective descendants for many generations.”
