Pediatrician Dr. HMI Liley:

“When doctors first began invading the sanctuary of the womb, they did not know that the unborn baby would react to pain” just as “violently as a baby lying in a crib” by “flaying out his tiny arms, wiggling his entire body, and crying.”

Woman waiting for abortion tells herself: it’s a fetus

From a woman who aborted her down syndrome baby, describing how she felt when she was waiting, just before her abortion:

“The baby kicks another time and I stitch more frantically. I start saying the word fetus over and over to myself….no baby, no baby…just a down syndrome fetus.”

Katherine G Levine “What I Thought During my Abortion” Mademoiselle May 1979, 110

At that time, only amniocentesis could have detected Down syndrome, so the baby must have been over 16 weeks old.

Abortion researcher: Almost every couple’s relationship ended

Linda Bird Francke interviewed men and women in abortion clinics and after their abortions for her book The Ambivalence of Abortion. She says:

“In my research, almost every relationship between single people broke up either before or after the abortion. What had been pleasure became pain. What had been frivolous became heavy. Sex, which had brought intimacy and relief, brought memories of pain and guilt.”

Abortions against the husband’s will poison marriage

From one man:

“Eight years into our marriage, my wife became pregnant with our fourth baby. I was so excited and happy about the soon to come new addition to our family. Three weeks after the announcement of her pregnancy, however, I was hit by shocking news. My wife had aborted our baby without telling or asking me. …. I wanted our baby! We were financially well-off. Why would she do such a horrible thing without consulting me?…

My wife calmly explained that she was physically and emotionally drained. She couldn’t handle a fourth child…

Then, a year later my wife got pregnant again. Once again she made the same horrible choice to have an abortion, and once again I was not involved in the decision. Thus, our fifth child was aborted. This time I became visibly angry with her because of her selfishness. We fought with heated and ugly words. She screamed at me, “it’s my body, and this was my choice!” She accused me of never being home for her or the children…

I had been faithful to my wife for the first 12 years of our marriage and suddenly I realized that I didn’t really know who this woman was.…

15 years have passed…. Yes, we are still married, but in name only… We sleep in separate bedrooms.… I lead my life and she leads hers. The years go by as we sit silently in our anger and rage. Our lives are so empty and devoid of love. Yes, we are still married – a marriage that has lasted 27 years.

I admit that I have had to seek other ladies for solace, while my wife involves herself with the children and her many charities. She’s a good mother, a good woman, and I only wish that she never made those deadly choices. It’s very possible that our lives and our marriage could have been different.

It’s been a long time to be so angry, but I just can’t bring myself to forgive her… Abortion is a decision that doesn’t just affect the woman. It is a choice that also affects the father.”

Abortionist killed 35,000 human beings in 7 years

One abortionist did 35,000 abortions in seven years.

“From 1970 through the greater part of 1977, California millionaire – abortionist Dr. Edward Allred was personally responsible for destroying 35,000 human lives before birth, including some 7000 midtrimester killings by salt poisoning. When asked by a reporter what happens in an abortion, Dr. Allred made no reference to the killings, but replied: “the contents are evacuated.”

Allred also botched many of these abortions.

And made offensive, racist statements.

We can define a “fetus” any way we wish

Pro-Choice apologist Dr. Garrett Hardin:

“Whether the fetus is or is not a human being is a matter of definition, not fact: and we can define it any way we wish….

It would be unwise to define the fetus as human (hence tactically unwise ever to refer to the fetus as an “unborn child.)”

Garrett Hardin “Abortion – Or Compulsory Pregnancy?” Journal of Marriage and the Family 30 (May 1968): 250-251

can we simply define this baby as not a human being, and then kill him?

Woman nearly dies after third abortion

One woman tells her story:

“The abortion clinic workers told me not to worry about it because they were just removing “a blob of tissue,” and I wouldn’t feel anything. However, the pain after the third abortion was excruciating, and I had to be rushed to the emergency room after the third day, because I was bleeding excessively and running a high fever.

The ER doctor told me that I might have a perforated uterus, and if that were the case, they would have to do a hysterectomy. I discovered later that my uterus had not been punctured, but that the abortion clinic had left some of the “fetal matter” (parts of the baby) and part of the placenta inside of me. Because of this, they had to do a D&C. I’m lucky to be alive today, for the doctor said if I had not come in when I did, I would’ve hemorrhage to death!”

Father is heartbroken to learn his daughter had an abortion as a teen

A post-abortion woman named Cheryl describes what happened when she told her father she had an abortion years ago, when she was a teenager:

“My father didn’t say a word. After hearing all this, he started to weep.… As I walked over to him, I began to cry, as well. As I got closer to dad, he began to sob loudly. I put my arms around him and said, “Don’t cry, daddy, I am so sorry for what I did.”

Sobbingly, he replied, “No, Cheryl. Can you forgive me for being so strict with you as you were growing up? If you weren’t so scared to come to me, you would’ve had the baby, and we would have accepted and loved our grandchild. Please forgive me for making you go through that ordeal. Now we understand why you changed after you got married. You became so distant to us and I thought that we had lost our little girl. Please forgive me!”

I had only seen my father cry twice in my entire life. Once was when his mother died 15 years earlier and the second time was when I shared about my abortion – the death of his first grandchild. Dad was grieving over the lost relationship with his daughter and his aborted grandchild…

You believe it when you hear the threat, “If you get pregnant before you get married or bring disgrace or shame to your parents, you will be disowned.”… I didn’t realize that my father’s bark had no bite to it, and that despite whatever I did, my father would always love me. Unfortunately, I found this out too late.”
