Abortion patient, as she was in the clinic before her abortion:

“I felt that this was the time to say “Stop!”, If that was what I wanted, but it wasn’t. I also felt that it would have been very easy to become overemotional psychologically and start thinking things like, “They are going to take my baby away.”

Looking at sonogram before abortion is “unbearable” – but why?

Kelcie McCrae, a pro-choice writer:

“having an abortion was one of the hardest things one of my closest friends has ever done, and to imagine looking at the ultrasound moments before the procedure, according to her, would have been unbearable.”

10weekswalkingLifeSiteNews commented on this:

“The question never answered is why such a thing would be unbearable. Clearly, for the same reason that demolishing a house would be unbearable after seeing a child in its upstairs window! Only a man entirely out of touch with human reason would argue, “Therefore do not look through the windows.”

Woman says her baby was “happy” to be aborted

One British woman was told that her baby might be disabled. She went to see a Reiki practitioner about the pregnancy and decided to have an abortion.

I still couldn’t come to terms with it, so I went to see a Reiki master and spiritual healer – I felt there was no one else to turn to for impartial advice; all my family and friends were emotionally involved.12weeks_closeup

I asked if the healer’s spirit guide could connect with the foetus. She said she had a very strong sense that the baby wasn’t 100 per cent perfect and that he was happy to go to the other side, but would be back again soon.

Immediately I felt enormously relieved because I’d been feeling so guilty. …

Twelve weeks pregnant, I returned to my GP who sent me to hospital. I couldn’t bear to look at the scan, but the nurse let slip that my baby was a boy… I didn’t have to go through any counselling. But the only way I got through the termination was knowing that the spirit of my foetus had forgiven me and that he was going to come back.”

Woman who had two abortions: I need to mature and grow

A woman who had 2 abortions said:

Ultrasound of baby at 7 weeks. This baby would've been torn apart and dismembered in an abortion at this stage.
Ultrasound of baby at 7 weeks. This baby would’ve been torn apart and dismembered in an abortion at this stage.

“This is not right for my soul’s growth at this time. You can basically say to the child, I’m not equipped to help you grow up right yet. I’m not grown up myself. I choose not to let you into my life for your benefit. I need to mature, I need to grow.”

Woman who had 3 abortions: getting teeth pulled was a bigger deal

From a book that told the stories of postabortion women:

“… One forty-four-year-old who had 3 abortion since her 20s notes, “it was like getting 4 molars pulled. I consider that a bigger deal, because you can’t eat for like 4 weeks.”

Methodist minister: Abortion is “not violence”

From pro-abortion Methodist minister John M Swomley:

“Abortions after implantation are of two kinds: one is medically induced by pill, and the other surgically induced, in each case with the request or consent of the woman. Most of us do not believe consensual medical and surgical action is violence.”

Women have trouble “ending the life” of a late term unborn baby

Ann Furedi comments on late-term abortions and women’s reluctance to get them:

“Many women, who would have few qualms about opting for a pregnancy to be terminated in its early weeks, balk at the thought of ending a life they have felt move inside them.”

Abortion clinic: “We do sacred work”

“The staff in this office does sacred work and though you may hope to never come back, we return each day to hear your stories, hold your hands, and ease your fears. Our lives are consumed with caring for yours. In these walls and in our hearts you are forever valued, treasured, respected and safe.”

Head of abortion chain supports third trimester abortion

Ann Furedi is the director of the largest chain of abortion clinics in England. Here, she defends late-term abortion:

“We believe that the delivery of an abortion procedure in the second (and even third) trimester is preferable to its denial, since the denial of abortion has consequences for a woman’s life, for the lives that are touched by hers, and for the life of the child that will be born.”

Sound of suction machine haunts woman 30 years after her abortion

From pro-choice writer Emma Maniere:

“After a woman told me the sound of the suction device haunts her over 30 years after her abortion, I wondered why I care so much about being pro-choice.”
