Clinic worker jokes about her job, says she’s killing babies

One abortion clinic worker said the following on the blog “the abortioneers”

“In some of my cruder moments, I’ve been known to say sarcastically, “Well, I’m off to make my living as a baby killer!”

They were told their baby would be a vegetable, instead, he’s laughing, smiling, and nursing

When Jennifer Mckinstry was pregnant with her third child Colton, he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus. She and her husband were devastated when doctors insisted she abort:

“We were told that we should terminate our pregnancy with Colton seven times,” explains Mckinstry, “and by three different doctors. The first time they told us to terminate the pregnancy was the hardest because it was all such a shock to us. The doctor was trying to tell me about his brain disorder and I couldn’t even hear him, everything was blurry and I felt so light headed. About a week later, we went to another doctor …and he told us that it would be best to terminate the pregnancy and that Colton wouldn’t make it. If he did make it, he would be a ‘vegetable’ who would never laugh or smile. After the second time that they told us to terminate we came back home and were so unsure of what to do. I never thought I would even think about terminating a pregnancy at all, but with everything the doctors were telling us, I wondered if it would be best. For three days, my husband and I thought back and forth if we should terminate or not. It was the most stressful and depressing days of my life. We decided that the best thing we could do was put it in God’s hands and pray, and whatever happened was meant to be. I just couldn’t think that God put Colton in our lives just to have him terminated. He was put here for a reason. The next month we were told a few more times to terminate the pregnancy because it would be best for Colton, and that it was selfish of us to keep him because he would be in so much pain if he even did make it. Well I am proud to say that Colton did make it through the pregnancy and when he was born was breathing on his own. He did need surgery to help drain extra fluid in his brain, but he is five months old now and is smiling, laughing, nursing, and meeting close to ever milestone for his age! The doctors are shocked and keeping telling us that he is doing amazingly well and way better than even the best case scenario they ever thought!”

Newspapers refused to run footage of aborted baby

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Operation Rescue organized masses sit ins at abortion clinics, were pro-lifers attempted to prevent women  and close the clinics and force the clinics to shut down. Operation Rescue’s actions garnered a lot of media attention, but most of it was negative. At one event, Randall Terry, the head of Operation Rescue, displayed an aborted baby to the media and tried to get them to photograph it in order to convey the reality of abortion:

15 weeks – legal to abort in every US state and all throughout Canada
15 weeks – legal to abort in every US state and all throughout Canada

He said:

“Do you have the integrity to show the people of Wichita the truth? This little child abolishes the proabortion arguments. I challenge you to show this baby. It’s reality.”…

None of the local television stations ran footage of the aborted baby. According to an article:

“No, no, no, no,” said Matthew Salkind, news director at KAKE–TV, Ch. 10. “I would not let us do that. I can’t see any point to that. Everybody gets the point without seeing something that graphic.”

Bob Yuna, news director at KSNW–TV, Ch. 3, said, “We chose not to run the picture of the purported fetus.”

Officials at KWCH–TV, Ch. 12, could not be reached for comment.

David Merritt Jr., editor of the Wichita Eagle, also declined comment.”

For young pro-lifers who grew up after the Internet became accessible and available, it is hard to imagine how difficult it was to spread the pro-life message in the past. It was very hard to reach people with the facts about abortion. In the 90s, I was lucky if I gave a talk and spread the pro-life message to 30 people in a month. Now this website, clinicquotes, has 1500 visitors a day. It’s amazing how the Internet has changed things – now the facts about abortion are accessible to everyone. Pro-lifers should make use of this tool.

Melissa Harris-Perry of MSNBC Mocks victims of abortion

LifeNews covers how Melissa Harris-Perry of MSNBC mocked unborn babies by deliberately breaking a model of a fertilized egg and acting as though unformed fertilized eggs were what was destroyed in abortion. She said:

“Oh, no. That might be bad. I seemed to have popped open the fertilized egg. We’ll put that back together. But the very idea that this would constitute a person, right? And that some set of constitutional rights should come to this.  Look, I get that that is a particular kind of faith claim. It’s not associated with science. But the reality is that if this turns into a person, right, there are economic consequences, right? The cost to raise a child, $10,000 a year up to $20,000 a year. When you’re talking about what it actually costs to have this thing turn into a human, why not allow women to make the best choices that we can with as many resources and options instead of trying to come in and regulate this process?”

In reality, it is babies like the one below that are being aborted. The baby in the picture is a weeks old. The 2nd picture shows what a baby this age looks like after an abortion. The typical abortion is done around this age.

Also, even if babies were being aborted when they were still in the state of being fertilized eggs, life would still be taken by abortion. Science teaches that life begins at conception.

Former abortionist: “Abortion destroys women”

Dr. A. Panay performed over 10,000 abortions. She now compares abortion to infanticide. According to the article:

“[Dr. Panay says that] abortion destroys women, it violates their spirit and their souls, and equally important, it damages the reproductive tract to the extent that she believes gynecologists are seeing more problems with infertility than ever before.”

The Post-Standard (Syracuse, NY) 8-29-9. Quoted by Life Dynamics.

Christian late-term abortionist and Martin Luther King Jr.

LifeNews recently wrote about an abortionist named Willie J. Parker who identifies as Christian. He performs abortions up to 24 weeks and 6 days.

What inspires this African American doctor to kill 24 week babies like the one below? The words of Martin Luther King Jr.

24 weeks
24 weeks

“In listening to a sermon by Dr. Martin Luther King, I came to a deeper understanding of my spirituality, which places a higher value on compassion. King said what made the good Samaritan “good” is that instead of focusing on would happen to him by stopping to help the traveler, he was more concerned about what would happen to the traveler if he didn’t stop to help.

I became more concerned about what would happen to these women if I, as an obstetrician, did not help them.”

He also says:

“ I think my work is honorable and important, and I won’t be distracted. It’s what I believe in my heart is the right thing to do.

baby being aborted at 24 weeks

There is, however, a limit to his “altruism.” He won’t do abortions after the legal cutoff.

“I don’t do abortions beyond 24 weeks and 6 days. In the absence of lifesaving measures, my cutoff is the legal limit. That becomes a moving target, but nobody in D.C. does them beyond 25 weeks.  Once a fetus has the possibility to survive outside the womb — with or without extraordinary support measures — I will not do an abortion. The only exception is if a woman’s life is in danger or the fetus is fatally flawed.”

So the law pretty much stops him from killing babies that are able to be born alive. Of course, unborn babies have survived being born as early as 21 weeks.  Or, in the case of a study done in Journal of American Medical Association, as early as 20 weeks.

Some abortions at or around 24 weeks are done by tearing the baby apart with forceps, a D&E abortion. Here is a chart of such an abortion at 23 weeks

Planned Parenthood worker: “what I do is murder”

From the introduction of a Sidewalk Counseling book by former clinic worker Judy Fetrow:

As a Planned Parenthood Reproductive Health Specialist, Judith worked as an abortion counselor and as a surgical assistant during abortion procedures.  This brought her face to face with what abortion is, the killing of a child.

When Judith worked for Planned Parenthood, pro-life activists would often ask her when she thought life began.  She would answer, “Life begins at conception and what I do is murder.”

Abortion safety consultant OKs clinic with 17 pages of health violations

LifeNews describes terrible conditions found in one abortion clinic:

A June 1, 2012 inspection of the Amethyst Health Center for Women in Manassas found 17 pages of deficiencies including infection prevention citations, storage and dispensing of drugs citations, quality assurance citations, maintenance citations, and local and state code standards citations.

Even more disturbing:

Incredibly, this came just two months after a 3/27/2012 meeting of the abortion center’s “Quality Assurance Committee” including “Administrator/Owner, Medical Director/Physician, Counselor, LPN, CNA, and a consultant” concluded, “The staff was polled regarding any concerns about patient care and nothing was identified … No concerns have been identified and no measures need to be implemented at this time by the Quality Assurance Committee.”

Abortionist laments the fact that babies might be born alive

Dr. Lisa Perriera, abortionist at Preterm, an abortion clinic in Cleveland:

“[On the heartbeat bill]. It would have presented a lot of issues. It would’ve required women to travel to other places to have abortions if they wanted to have them. But the patients that I care for are of so little means already, it would have forced them to continue their pregnancy. We would have had a lot more women that are having babies that don’t want to have them.”

Robin Marty, Jessica Mason Pieklo Crow After Roe (Brooklyn, New York: ig Publishing, 2013) 41

The Heartbeat Bill was a proposed pro-life law that would have banned abortion after the heart of the baby can be heard in the clinic. Although the heart begins beating at 21 days or so, instruments cannot detect the heartbeat until somewhat later. However, this law would have criminalized all but the very earliest abortions.

Unborn baby at 9 weeks. Over 40% of all abortions are done after this point, in the 10th week or beyond. Abortion at this stage would be illegal if a heartbeat law was in effect.

This abortionist clearly laments the fact that babies might be born who would otherwise be aborted. Preventing abortions, in her view, seems to be the wrong thing to do. She laments the fact that women would have their babies and reveals a proabortion mindset
