Man describes abortion as “eliminating evidence of mistake”

From a man whose partner had an abortion:

“It’s such a serious, emotional situation that a minor change in emotion or atmosphere can precipitate a break by one or the other person. She said, “Just give me the money!,” And I said “Fine!”… I could afford to eliminate the evidence of my mistake. Other people can’t.”

Man is “furious and hurt” when partner has abortion

An American actor and musician whose partner had an abortion said that he was:

“furious and very hurt when I found out that my girlfriend had an abortion. She knew that I would’ve been happy to have a child with her and get married. I’m not against abortion, but I wanted to have children with her. I think she should have at least asked me how I felt since we were committed to each other – at least I thought we were.”

Rape victim who gave birth speaks out on abortion

From a woman who gave birth to a child who was conceived in rape:

“It really upsets me to hear people talking about a woman keeping a ‘rapist’s baby,’ To me, she’s not the rapists baby; she’s my baby. He doesn’t deserve any credit. [The thought of abortion] is based on temporary feelings that the baby is the rapist’s baby. But it’s her baby. In all my research, the majority of women who get pregnant through rape don’t want to have an abortion. This is the outside telling these women that they should have an abortion because their loved ones don’t want to deal with [the rape] or think about it. But that woman is not going to forget it, and abortion is not going to solve that problem. And I think that that misconception needs to be cleared. It’s not the woman herself who wants the abortion. It’s usually her family or her friends.”

Ambulance driver shocked by miscarried child

A pro-life author wrote about an ambulance driver who saw a miscarriage:

“I spoke with one person, a trained ambulance attendant for many years and mother of 5, who had witnessed a woman having a miscarriage in early pregnancy. She was astonished at the humanness of the perfectly formed child, but 4 or 5 inches long, which she held in her hand. “I couldn’t believe it,” she said to me, “the tiny arms and legs, all the veins beneath the skin…” She, like a surprising many, had thought a child at that stage was more of a blob or an indistinct mass of tissue.”

Father of aborted child: we have no rights

“As the law stands we have no rights. Our babies can be killed and I’m told we can’t arrange decent burial. We can’t even prevent the fetus from being used for medical experiments.”

Rape survivor: having my baby saved me

From Ashley, a girl who got pregnant as a result of rape, on her son:

“I swear if it wasn’t for Aiden, I wouldn’t be here today. He has impacted my life more than anyone could ever imagine at a time when I was falling apart. I was 13 years old, terrified, not knowing what the future would hold for me. Now I’m 16, completely confident in what my future will be as a mommy, a mentor, and a best friend. Now here he is, a week away from being 2 years old. So smart, so big, so full of life, and so happy. God blessed me with him and I wouldn’t want my life any other way. I love my son. Aiden saved me.”

Abortion contributes to divorce of couple

From a postabortion father:

“While this [abortion] was not the only reason for our subsequent divorce, it was a major one. I blamed her for being so insistent on having the abortion. I felt that she had coerced me to into making a decision that was really against my inner feelings. I never forgave her while we were together, because I didn’t want to face the fact that I was a co-conspirator with her. I only knew that the child was gone, and could never be replaced.

We separated one year after the abortion and divorced a few months after that. I don’t know what side effects she might have as a result of the abortion because I haven’t seen her since the divorce. But I do know how it affected my life.”

Abortionist sends 10 year old child home to be raped

Dr. Benjamin Graber, abortionist, was cited for failing to notify authorities that a 10-year-old girl on whom he performed an abortion may have been sexually abused. It could have prevented two years more years of sexual abuse for the child if he had reported the 10-year-old`s case.

Dr. Benjamin Graber said:

“It was not an obvious case of child abuse. She came in with her mother. It was legal. It was out front. There were no signs of abuse.“

Rape victim “so glad” she didn’t abort

This testimony about a woman who had a child conceived in rape can be found in its entirety here.

“I had been raped while under the influence of pain meds and now I’m pregnant. Some kind of sick, cruel joke. I just can’t be. I had just fallen into the category of women I said that was okay to have an abortion. I was raped and carrying his child. I had made no choice in the matter, yet I was stuck.
I wrestled back and forth with abortion or continuing the pregnancy. I had a second test done at a women’s center to confirm the home one. I went on auto pilot mode I guess…I called an OB office to make an appointment.

They had me schedule an ultrasound because they were unsure of gestational age. Once I saw the screen and I saw he had already formed into a baby. My mind was made up… I realized all that I couldn’t abort this child inside of me…. I am so glad I didn’t abort my youngest son because of the sin of his father. He has brought so much into my life, the life of my church and others… Life wouldn’t be the same without my precious little man Eli!”

Woman has abortion, father doesn’t know

From an article by a reporter who visited an abortion clinic, the story of one patient:

In her counseling session, Keesha explains that she’s going back to school and it isn’t a good time in her life to have another baby. The man who got her pregnant is out on the streets, and she expects to see him again, but he doesn’t know she’s here today.

“He thinks he got me knocked up and I’ll have his baby,” she says. “But I ain’t worried about what he’ll do when he finds out.”
