Former clinic worker: I screamed at women and held them down

From a former abortion clinic worker:

“I medicated women when I wasn’t sure if I should. I treated them like their problems were their fault, held them down and screamed at them. I lied to them and treated the women like cattle and the babies like less than human.”

Now pro-life abortion worker describes lies other clinic workers told about pro-lifers

Former clinic worker Jewels Green told the following story:

“At the abortion clinic where I worked, I readily believed all of the misinformation fed to me about the “antis” holding those gory signs outside. I was told that pro-lifers cared nothing about women or families or children—only babies, and only unborn babies at that. I was told story after story about how this pro-life group or that crisis pregnancy center lied to women to “trick” them into staying pregnant and then would abandon them after the growing baby was beyond the legal limit for abortion. The most vivid (tall) tale I remember was of some unnamed group who extended financial assistance, prenatal care, and even drove a young mother to the hospital while she was in labor only to drop off a box of diapers the next day and refuse to return her calls after that….

This is pro-abortion propaganda.

Since coming over to the side of life, I have been thrilled to confirm that these stories are baseless lies. It is shocking to me that the pro-abortion side continues to propagate these blatant untruths in spite of real evidence to the contrary. The pro-life movement is peopled by honest, dedicated, generous, and often pious people. The pro-life movement includes individuals and families who adopt “unwanted” babies, “imperfect” babies, “disabled” babies and donate time, money, and energy to stopping abortion. …

Many crisis pregnancy centers don’t just do pregnancy tests but also offer relationship counseling, parenting workshops, family counseling, babysitting co-ops, post-abortion support, and much more—for FREE—and without hundreds of millions of dollars from American taxpayers.”

Former Clinic Worker: Merilida Aguilar

Following is Merilida’s testimony, from Bound4Life:

I was a former Planned Parenthood manager and abortion coordinator for the local clinic in Salinas. …

That Saturday, my coworker called me to go look at what she was seeing in a container the doctor had just left on the counter after he was done with an abortion procedure. With horror she kept repeating, “We are going to go to hell—Meri, come and see what is in here!”

I turned and started walking towards her, wondering what she was talking about. When I got closer to look inside, to my disbelief I saw tiny little arms with the hands attached intact. I could see the tiny fingers and legs with tiny feet and toes floating in blood and solution. We just stood there without saying a word.

…. After that day, things changed and I was not able to continue to do what I was doing. I finally knew for certain that abortions were never performed on a blob of tissue, as they want the world to believe, but a real person. This baby was 12 weeks old before he/she was murdered. I did not last long after that and soon I was fired. The number of abortions being scheduled were not growing, but declining at the center I was working.”

“[Abortion clinics] have an abortion budget and they have a certain number of patients that you have to perform abortions on every month, and there’s a dollar amount attached to each woman.”

Former clinic worker: cocaine and other drug use rampant at abortion clinic

From former clinic worker Norma McCorvey, who was also the plaintiff in Roe versus Wade and is now pro-life:

“To cope with what everyone intuitively knew were inhumane conditions, cocaine became a favorite pastime. At A-Z… [The abortion clinic that Norma McCorvey worked at first, eventually shut down] drugs became a major tool to keep the peace. Drugs got us through the day, and when memories kept us awake, drugs helped us get to sleep. When we couldn’t bear the thought of going back for another day’s worth of work, drugs got us out of bed.

We even used drugs with patients. Many times a young woman might say, “I’m not so sure I want to do this.”

If the patient was holding things up, we knew just what to do. “Here, honey,” we’d say, offering some cocaine. “Have a little hit of this. You’ll be fine.”

Our offer was not always accepted, but when it was, it worked wonders.”

No one grows up wanting to work in an abortion clinic

From former abortion clinic director Abby Johnson:

“Something that has always struck me when I go out to clinics, and I watch the women who come out who’ve had an abortion.  I’ll see the sidewalk counselors reach out to them, and I see the compassion on their faces and I hear the compassion in their words, and it’s fantastic.  It’s so wonderful to see that.  They extend such love to those hurting women.

But then I see clinic workers come out, and that compassion just evaporates.  And it’s wrong.  70% of clinic workers have had abortions themselves.  They are in need of healing just as much, if not more, than the women who come to that clinic.  No one grows up wanting to work in an abortion clinic.  It’s a series of heartbreaking, regretful, painful choices that lead them there.  We don’t see it because they show their hurt with anger — they yell at us and curse at us because they are hurt.  Yet our compassion is somehow diminished toward them.

I want people to know this community of clinic workers have not been embraced by the pro-life community, yet they could literally be the demise of the abortion industry!  There are 4 major pending lawsuits against PP, for billions of dollars, all brought by former PP employees.  If these suits are successful, God-willing, these large affiliates could shut down.  This could be a domino effect.  This could be the beginning of the end!

These workers coming forward with information we would not have any other way.  The beauty of this is these are real people with real stories of real clients and real things happening that can be brought to court and prosecuted.  These clinics really can be shut down because of it.  This is what the pro-life movement has been missing for 40 years.”

Aborted babies die with their arms around each other

Abby Johnson from And Then There Were None shared the following account from a former clinic worker in an email:

2nd trimester (17 weeks)
2nd trimester (17 weeks)

“A woman came into our clinic one afternoon, in obvious pain. Another abortion facility down the road had given her a very heavy dose of Misoprostol to abort her quadruplets. She was already into her second trimester.

We guided her into the bathroom, undressed her from the waist down, and instructed her to sit on the toilet. We were all horrified at the events that unfolded in the next few minutes. The first baby fell into the toilet. The nurse grabbed a chux pad and held it to her bottom as we hurried her to the procedure room. It was then that the next two babies fell out and were hanging from her. The arms of the perfectly formed lifeless baby boys were wrapped around each other.

We were finally able to get her to the procedure room we started IV sedation, but she was still in so much pain. The fourth baby had had to be suctioned out of her. He came out in pieces.

I remember sobbing with a co-worker as we sorted through the remains of the fourth baby boy in the POC lab. We cradled the tiny intact babies in our arms and cried for them. I knew that I could no longer do this work. I was done.”

The clinic worker contacted And Then There Were None right after this incident, and left the clinic that very day. The former clinic worker reached out to her colleagues and four other workers ended up leaving.

Abortion worker quits: can’t keep looking at “baby’s body parts”

“An RN left a Detroit abortion clinic recently. When she called me asking about our ministry, I asked her what it was that prompted her call. She said to me, “I just can’t do it anymore. I can’t look at one more jar of these baby’s body parts.”

Former clinic worker on how pro-choicers view women who regret their abortions

Former clinic worker Jewels Green:

“The pro-abortion movement makes a lot of noise about respecting a woman’s heartfelt and well-considered “choice” to have an abortion—but only if she remains quietly pro-choice and regret-free afterwards. That same woman becomes a “traitor” to her gender, a mindless follower of dogma, or an object of cartoonish ridicule if she admits her abortion was a mistake and now wants to help others avoid the same pain, guilt, sadness, and remorse she—WE—experience as a result of making an irreversible error so grave as killing our children…..

It is sadly (but tellingly) incongruous that pro-abortion supporters equate their cause for the ”right” to murder our unborn children to women’s equality, women’s rights, and caring for women when it seems obvious that women hurting after an abortion are pretty much left to fend for themselves. This is intellectual dishonesty in blind service to keeping the lucrative abortion industry in business at the expense of not only the helpless children killed, but also their customers: the pregnant mothers seeking their grisly services.

It is shameful that the pro-abortion side mocks or ignores our pain, regret, and remorse—and refuses to warn women about these inherent psychological risks.”

Former clinic worker: abortionist was like “a spider trapping insects,” convincing women to abort

Luhra Tivis Worked with Dr. George Tiller, the infamous late-term abortionist who was assassinated a few years ago. (An act that was condemned by all mainstream pro-life groups). She says of her time working there:

“It became apparent to me, after about eight weeks, that something was horribly wrong. I was frightened by what I saw. These late abortions were not, as Dr. Tiller had told me, being done for compelling medical reasons. Viable babies were being destroyed simply on demand. Week after week, I saw in the medical records the clear evidence of a violence beyond anything I could’ve imagined.

Like a spider trapping insects, Dr. Tiller lured the mothers into his clinic each week. I was instructed to falsify the ages of the babies in the medical records. I was required to lie to the mothers over the phone, as they scheduled their appointments, and tell them that they were “not that far along.” That I had to note, in the records, that Dr. Tiller’s needle had successfully pierced the walls of the baby’s heart, injecting the poison that brought death. It was a horror that pierced my own heart.

Each week, as the mothers came in and I checked them off for their appointment, I tried to maintain my composure. I hid my impulse to turn them away, to plead for the lives of their children. It was particularly sinister that this great evil was being conducted and, what, to all appearances, was an ordinary medical clinic.”
