Thinking of having an abortion? Want to talk to someone? Go here or dial 1 800 395 HELP.All calls confidential.  For a directory of pregnancy centers that can help you, worldwide, go here.  and if for whatever reason they can’t help you, you can also try this directory.

Birthright is another excellent organization that helps women considering abortion. They have many centers throughout the world. They are not affiliated with any religion. I called them once. When I told them I was pro-life, they made a point to tell me they were “not political” They will not try to sway your decision.

If you have had an abortion and need support, here are some links for you to try.

Note: if you have come here considering an abortion, please consider reading some of the stories of women who have had them. Go to Women’s Stories section.

In addition, every woman has a right to know the risks of any type of surgery. Abortion clinics and organizations such as Planned Parenthood make a great deal of money off of performing abortions. They may not always give accurate information about abortion’s risks.

A number of studies have been done over the past thirty years. Many of these studies have appeared in very highly respected medical journals.

For example, a study in BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology, in 2006 found that an abortion raises the risk of a future miscarriage by 60%.

Researchers say this is due to the fact that forced dilation can weaken the cervix, which may cause it to give way in future pregnancies, as well as the possibility of uterine scarring. For the same reasons, other studies have shown that ectopic (or tubal) pregnancies and premature births in future pregnancy are also more common among women who have had abortions. Premature birth can cause disabilities in future children.

In addition, a study in Journal of the Royal College of General Practitioners recorded that one in ten abortion patients faces immediate complications after surgery, with one fifth of those being life-threatening.

Several studies have linked abortion to problems in relationships. For example, one study in The Journal of Public Health.

See studies here

In another study that appeared in International Review of Family Planning (Vincent M. Rue “Abortion in Relationship Context” International Review of Natural Family Planning Summer 1985 p 105) 70% of relationships ended within six months of a woman’s abortion.

Note: Some Pictures are labeled by fetal age. In an abortion clinic, length of pregnancy may be determined by the time since the woman’s last menstrual period (LMP) However, conception occurs two weeks after the period ends. Therefore, the age of the unborn baby is two weeks less than the stated time of pregnancy.

I had an abortion which tormented me for over 40 years. A Christian organization showed me compassion and love and helped me to be assured of Gods forgiveness. Now I volunteer with them to counsel other women with the truth about ALL of the possible risks of abortion, including those which are not physical, but which can often be even more deadly. Yes, these pics are horrific, but if someone had shown them to me way back then, I would still have that child with me. Yes, there are occasionally serious reasons why a Moms life could be in danger if she continued a pregnancy, and in those cases, and ONLY those cases, I would save the life of the mother rather than the baby. But these situations are typically recognized and taken care of long before a mother reaches the second trimester. The loss of any child is a tragedy, but there are those rare occasions when this has to be done to save the mother. It is important to love women who have made this tragic decision to have an abortion in the past, when they could have carried their baby. Theirs is a life worth saving too. I can testify to this and I’m so glad that these Christian women were there for me and helped me to find peace with God through the forgiveness found only in Jesus Christ.

    I’m an atheist

I’m 21 weeks pregnant with a baby conceived through rape.

I’m keeping my baby because it’s still half of me.

I’m not a christian but I still think it’s wrong to kill a life, even if you are raped.

I don’t see it as an excuse.

This is my baby, I’m still going to love them no matter what.

FUCKING SICK 2 even post SHIT like this that is SO dirty to do to ANY mom who may have lost a baby by choice or not by choice u LOSERS

    • Sarah says:

We don’t want to hurt people, but the point in posting the pictures is that people will turn against abortion and women will choose life. people need to knwo waht is going on in clinics all over America. Sadly, this is the reality that goes on thousands of times a day in our country. It will only stop if people speak out, and that will only happen if people know the truth.

    • Terry T says:

No Kidding? Dripping with compassion aren’t we? Well now that you have had an opportunity to view the result of your actions one would hope you will refrain from subjecting one of your sons or daughters to this “proceedure” again. You may want to consider the possibility that it is much more difficult for your child to endure being tortured by poisoning and dismemberment while still alive than it is for you to view the aftermath of your self centered actions.

  6. Michael says:

Wow! Maybe we actually care about the baby. The babies souls is with Christ. The Mother has ended its life and can be forgiven but the baby has no one to stand up for it and is defenseless against your “choice”. I only hope you seek forgiveness though Christ so you don’t have to spending an eternity regretting your choice.

“What the hell is wrong with you people?! Those babies have souls and feelings!!!! God is looking down on you!!!”

  8. A.B. says:

I love all you christians who post these things. It’s great for people who are into morbid things! Thanks!

But we’re still keeping our rights.
    Cry about it.

    • Kim says:

It is morbid..but these pictures show the FACTS! Just ignoring it will not make it go away. Parents need to know what they are doing to their children.

  9. cheryl allen says:

Murdering SOB’s you will all answer to your choice, and First Choice, seriously!!! Your first chioce was unprotected sex, hello!!!

    • J says:

      In response to Cheryl Allen:
Id like to point out a few problems with your comment. Firstly, you have made the assumption that people who have abortions have had unprotected sex. What about if the condom breaks? Or someone is on the pill, but is unwell the next day, meaning the pills effects are undermined? Secondly, what if the mothers health is seriously at risk and they cannot carry the baby to full term? I agree this is very late to abort, but there can be valid reasons why abortion at this late stage may be necessary, so please refrain from making such bold assumptions before knowing individual reasons.

      • Marie M says:

Abortion is never “necessary”. The first choice made was to have sex, which by its nature can result in the conception of a new life. Or even in the case of rape, the child is the mother’s child as well as the father’s and is not guilty of his father’s crime. If there is a health risk, it is the job of medical science to do the best they can for both mother and baby, not sacrifice one life when they can try to save both.
