Woman who aborted disabled baby: my heart is broken

From a woman who aborted her Down syndrome baby:

“I feel fine about the decision, I’m fine with it. Nothing could have been more obvious. It’s just that my heart is permanently broken.”

“Abortion is an act of compassion and love”

Late-term abortionist Dr. Warren Hern, who sometimes performs abortions in the thirdtrimester, talks about a patient who cried after her abortion because she was so happy:

“She cried after the operation for sadness and relief. Her tears and the immensity of the moment brought my tears. I had helped her change her life. I was relieved that this young woman was safe to go on with her dreams. I thought I had found a new definition of the idea of medicine as an act of compassion and love for one’s fellow human beings.

Yes, late-term abortion is such an act of compassion and love. You are some pictures of that “compassion and love” at 20 to 24 weeks

Scientist: giving birth to disabled children is a “crime against humanity” – abort instead

When the fight to legalize abortion was just beginning in the late 1960s, some in the medical community supported legal abortion because they felt that abortion could prevent the birth of children with disabilities. Disabled people’s lives, they believed, were not worth living. Here is one example of a doctor saying that it’s morally wrong to have a disabled child:

“If life is sacred… Then it is about time we begin treating it as such, instead of continuing to commit the frightful tragedies we do in permitting individuals to be brought into the world who will suffer all the days of their lives from serious disabling defects… The initial basic right of the individual should be to be born without handicap. Anyone who, in the light of the facts, assist in bringing a seriously handicapped child into the world in my view commits a crime against humanity.

Abortion could prevent that crime.”

Child senses her aborted siblings?

Teresa Tomeo told the following story, relate to her by Dr. Philip Ney, a psychologist:

“Similarly, there are psychological effects on siblings of aborted children. Dr. Philip Ney, a Canadian psychologist, has studied these effects for decades. He tells a story of a woman who came to him for counseling for her six-year-old child who was having nightmares, wetting the bed, and suffering from separation anxiety. Dr. Ney, in his interview with the mother, asked her about any pregnancy losses. She told him about two abortions that she had prior to giving birth to this child. Then in a separate interview with the child, Dr. Ney asked the child to draw a picture of her family. She was an only child, and yet she drew a picture with her mom, dad, brother, sister, and herself. She had a sense of the missing siblings.”

Teresa Tomeo Recall Abortion: Ending the Abortion Industry’s Exploitation of Women (Charlotte, North Carolina: St. Benedict Press, 2013) 65 – 66

This seems far-fetched to me, it’s true that children can be remarkably perceptive, but this borders on paranormal. I can’t help but be skeptical, but I’m including the story here and readers can make their own decision as to what they think of it.

2015 poll shows that more Americans want stricter laws on abortion

“In 2015, 34% of Americans say they are satisfied with current U.S. abortion policies. This is the lowest percentage since Gallup first asked the question in 2001. …. Americans who say they are dissatisfied with current abortion policies were asked a follow-up question to learn if they are dissatisfied because they want current abortion laws to be stricter or less strict. This year, of those who are dissatisfied, twice as many prefer stricter rather than less strict laws: 24% want stricter laws, while 12% want current abortion laws to be less strict.”

The abortion killed our love…

One man talks about the abortion his wife had:

“In March 1979, my wife became pregnant. This was not a planned pregnancy. My wife was not using any form of birth control as she got sick from the pills and an IUD was painful for her.

My wife did not want the baby because of her age (33) and the fact she felt she had already raised three children (ages 8 to 15, from her previous marriage) at the time she did not want the pain of childbearing until she was in her late 50s. She was also just starting her career as an accountant.

I stressed to her… I loved her, would share the child raising, and I was beginning to love the baby.

In June 1979, she aborted the baby without my knowledge or consent. She had been both ill and very depressed during the pregnancy, and on the day of the abortion she was in high spirits while I was sad, angry, and cried much that day.…

I found it affected my feelings for her more than I could control…

The marriage ended on December 8, 1979, in divorce. I had loved my wife deeply ‘til that point, but I could not get out of my head that the abortion killed our love.”

Planned Parenthood’s founder: “There should be no more babies”

Live-action just ran an article that drew attention to this video of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger being interviewed. Many, many quotes from Margaret Sanger championing racism and eugenics (the so-called science of separating people into the unfit (wh should not breed) and the fit (who should be having children).

The video came to my attention in this article

Proabortion cop fired for harassing and shaming female protester

He was no friend to women… The following article was from the saynsumthn blog by Carole Novielli:

An off-duty police officer cannot get his job back after insulting an anti-abortion demonstrator’s weight to show that “the truth sometimes hurts,” a federal judge ruled.

Dick Lalowski worked as a police officer in Des Plaines, Ill., from 1994 until 2008, when he was fired after a hostile off-duty interaction with anti-abortion protesters.

In May 2006, Lalowski was on duty and in uniform when he drove by an abortion clinic and told a group of anti-abortion demonstrators not to impede traffic or stop anyone from entering the clinic. He admits that the interaction was adversarial.

Approximately 15 minutes later, Lalowski returned his equipment to the police station and went off duty. He testified that he was upset at the demonstrators’ display of images of aborted fetuses.

“At that time I was thinking about why would somebody put those signs out there, why would anybody who was trying to help people do that [?] I had to know,” Lalowski said in his deposition (brackets in original).

Lalowski then returned to the abortion clinic in plainclothes and in his personal vehicle. He approached a demonstrator, Paula Emmerth, asked her if she remembered him from earlier. He then told the woman that he was off duty and “not here representing anybody.”

When Lalowski asked “why she had to show those signs,” Emmerth replied that she wanted to tell the truth about abortion.

Lalowski responded: “OK. Let’s talk about the truth then. You’re fat.” He told the demonstrators that they should not display the signs because “the truth sometimes hurts,” and that such images could upset a woman who had miscarried.

When Emmerth refused to take down the signs, Lalowski called her a “fat fucking cow” and a “sinner of gluttony.” He then got down on his hands and knees to show her some exercises she could do to lose weight.

Lalowski told Emmerth she would be a beautiful woman if she was not so fat, and asked her sarcastically if she was hiding food somewhere.

During the one hour and 20 minutes he spent at the demonstration, Lalowski also compared the activists to the Taliban and compared the aborted fetus displays to an image of a Catholic priest leaning over a small boy.

Two demonstrators called 911 to request assistance, but it is unclear if the police acted upon these calls.

Based on this incident, the Board of Fire & Police Commissioners fired Lalowski for conduct unbecoming a police officer. Lalowski challenged the decision, arguing that he was exercising his right to free speech while off duty.

On review, U.S. District Judge James Zagel found that Lalowski’s conduct undermined the public’s confidence in the police force, a matter of far greater concern than his unprofessional comments.

“Although I think it a serious stretch, at this stage I am willing to accept plaintiff’s argument that when he called Emmerth a ‘fat fucking cow’ he intended it as a pointed example of how the truth can hurt, as part of his broader argument that sometimes the starkest forms of truth – i.e. graphic images of aborted fetuses – must be softened to facilitate constructive discourse,” Zagel wrote.

He added: “However, I find that defendants had a legitimate overriding interest in prohibiting their officers from using such profane and insulting language toward members of the public. Public trust in the police is critical to effective law enforcement and it is seriously eroded when police officers are perceived as abusing their authority or behaving unprofessionally. The public is far less likely to cooperate with law enforcement if they anticipate they will not be treated with respect – or worse, subject to verbal abuse. It is difficult to imagine more abusive language than calling someone a ‘fat fucking cow.’”

A number of demonstrators testified that they felt scared and intimidated by Lalowski’s presence and felt helpless in the face of a police officer “out of control.”

“It is difficult to imagine anything more damaging to Defendants’ legitimate interests (or basic social order) than a citizenry that fears its own police force,” Zagel wrote (parentheses in original).

“Plaintiff’s behavior was not only embarrassing for the police department, it undermined public confidence that its officers could be trusted to act within the boundaries of the laws they are charged with enforcing,” he added.

“Given its attenuated connection to any issue of public concern, its profane and insulting nature, and defendants’ overwhelming legitimate interests in prohibiting such speech, I find that Plaintiff’s repeated use of the phrase ‘fat fucking cow’ is not protected and served as a legitimate basis for his discharge,” the judge concluded.

Woman having abortion by pill mocks her aborted baby

A young woman wrote a blog about her abortion by pill. She was at her friend’s house when she took the abortion pill and began bleeding was asked by her friend if, after she aborted the baby, his apartment would be haunted. She said:

” if it does turn into a ghost, it won’t be a very intimidating ghost.

She put the following picture  on her blog. This is what she acknowledges her baby looked like at the time she took the pill.

The baby is about 1/3 of an inch, the size of a grain of rice. Development of the arms and legs continue although the fingers and toes haven’t yet formed. The brain is growing as well as the lenses of the eyes, nostrils, intestines, pancreas and bronchi.

i think it would be much scarier if the embryo joined the mutant goldfish from family guy in the sewers. much scarier.”

After she passed some product of the abortion she could not recognize, perhaps the gestational sac with the aborted baby:

yeah i have no fucking clue what that is. i imagine it’s a blood clot of sorts. i’m just glad it came out before my [followup] ultrasound, because that would have been a little awkward.

“i can’t see anything, let me check for obstructions. :peruses vagina: well. this is nice. would you like me to wrap it up for you?”

this is the closest thing to keeping the fetus we could have come, and i apologize to all of those that wanted a souvenir. i didn’t have a jar of formaldehyde readily available otherwise i would have definitely saved it. however, i didn’t flush it down the toilet! it’s wrapped in tissue in the bathroom garbage bin and you are more than welcome to retrieve it.
