Abortion clinic worker enraged by pro-life signs

Seeing a prolife sign left an abortion clinic worker enraged:

“As counselors we are cynical and joke about the protesters amongst ourselves, but we do not want the patient upset, so it ends there. At home is a different story. If I see something, a protester, or a Choose Life license plate, it takes everything in my power to not run the person off the road. It makes me so angry and aggressive. It’s become my cause so I take it extremely personal. I get mad when I see people being so callous and judgmental. I was driving home from a road trip vacation a few weeks ago when I passed a very religious part of the state. There were antiabortion signs along the Turnpike for at least an hour, one after another. I became enraged!”

Abortion clinic nurse has nightmare about baby

A writer tells of a clinic worker who recounted a nightmare she was having:

“Another writer told of a nurse who dreamed that she “was stuffing a baby into the mouth of [an antique] vase. The baby was looking at her with a pleading expression. Around the vase was a white ring. She interpreted this as representing the other nurses looking upon her act with condemnation.

He drew the conclusion that her dream “shows that unconsciously the act of abortion was experienced as an act of murder. It should be noted that this nurse was strongly committed intellectually to the new abortion law. Her reaction was typical. Regardless of one’s religious or philosophic orientation, the unconscious view of abortion remains the same. This was the most significant thing that was learned as a result of these sessions.”

Pro-abortion writer tells pro-choicers to ‘get over’ sex selection abortions

A pro-choicer writing about how her fellow pro-choicers should not oppose sex selection abortions:

“Also, let’s just remember that we are talking about fetuses. No matter how many ultrasound pics get posted to Facebook, these are fetuses with female genitals or male genitals—not little girls and little boys. If pro-choicers object to aborting because of the sex of the fetus, aren’t we then saying that abortion is “murdering” girls? Aren’t we basically arguing that a fetus is not a blank slate but a future possibility? That is not the case to make if your goal is to protect abortion rights. Gulp for a second if you must, then get over it.”

Washington Post: Planned Parenthood’s “services” save taxpayers money

“The fight also isn’t about cutting spending. The services Planned Parenthood provides save the federal government a lot of money. It’s somewhat cold to put it in these terms, but taxpayers end up bearing a lot of the expense for unintended pregnancies among people without the means to care for their children.”

Editorial on one of the reasons Planned Parenthood should be supported and not defunded

Pro-choice writer on why she does not march for abortion

Kim C Flodin, pro-choice freelance writer, who had 2 abortions:

“I say, despite the blood and the grief, I’d do it all over again – even though it makes me immeasurably sad and I still choke a little when I remember the dream boy on the beach [her second “son,” as she imagined him.]

But I still cannot find the guts to march for choice. My friends, even those privy to my past, think it’s circumstantial – the marches always seem to be poorly scheduled for my busy life. But I know that in the end I can barely stomach the politics of this debate. Though I understand its necessity, I hate sloganeering. I hate it because I cannot reduce my complicated set of emotions to the boldface type of the placard.”

Susanne Millsaps, executive director of the Utah Chapter of the pro-abortion group  NARAL:

Woman says her baby was “happy” to be aborted

One British woman was told that her baby might be disabled. She went to see a Reiki practitioner about the pregnancy and decided to have an abortion.

I still couldn’t come to terms with it, so I went to see a Reiki master and spiritual healer – I felt there was no one else to turn to for impartial advice; all my family and friends were emotionally involved.12weeks_closeup

I asked if the healer’s spirit guide could connect with the foetus. She said she had a very strong sense that the baby wasn’t 100 per cent perfect and that he was happy to go to the other side, but would be back again soon.

Immediately I felt enormously relieved because I’d been feeling so guilty. …

Twelve weeks pregnant, I returned to my GP who sent me to hospital. I couldn’t bear to look at the scan, but the nurse let slip that my baby was a boy… I didn’t have to go through any counselling. But the only way I got through the termination was knowing that the spirit of my foetus had forgiven me and that he was going to come back.”

In an article about an abortion clinic, the reporter talked to a couple, immigrants named Christina and Gabriel, who were there for her fourth abortion.  Gabriel says:

“It was taking a life, and it’s selfish on our part to take it away. Maybe this child could have grown up to be somebody special.”

Baby miscarried at nine weeks shows humanity of preborn children

On 4/10/2016 a woman posted these pictures of her miscarried son, who she named Vincent Marie.  Vincent was nine weeks gestation, or seven weeks from the time of conception. Vincent’s family hoped that showing these pictures would show others the humanity of unborn babies who are dying every day. 3,000 abortions happen in the US every single day, with most of them occurring at this stage or later.
