Pro-Choicer converts to pro-life after seeing ultrasound

Chris Aubert was pro-choice and the father of two aborted babies. He had willingly gone along with his girlfriends’ abortions and was strongly pro-choice. But when his wife had a sonogram of their first child, his views changed:

“When [his wife] was about eight weeks pregnant, I saw for the first time in my life in the ultrasound waiting room a fetal development chart and was stunned by what it showed.

Before I could process this information, we were called into the ultrasound room. On the screen was that supposedly unviable tissue mass moving around, right before my eyes.

I couldn’t believe it, and I pointed at the screen excitedly and said out loud, “I want to meet the person who says that’s not a baby, because there is no doubt that’s a baby!”…

Instantly, I understood the evil of abortion and was flooded with shame and sorrow for having been instrumental in the deaths of two of my own little babies.

Literally only minutes earlier I had been pro-choice; now I was pro-life.”

Abortionist comments on lack of abortionists

In an obituary of abortionist Jane Hodgson it says:

“At the age of 76, Hodgson continued to perform abortions, traveling 150 miles from her home, which was then in St. Paul, Minn., to Duluth, Minn., because doctors there refused.”

It then quotes Hodgson saying:

“They really can’t get anybody else,” she told a reporter for the Houston Chronicle in 1992. “It’s ridiculous, really…. I think the young generation of medical students, with the exception of women, are not (interested in this training).”

Amanda Marcotte calls her preborn baby “brainless” and “lentil-sized”

From pro-abortion activist AMANDA MARCOTTE on her abortion:

“Given the choice between living my life how I please and having my body within my control and the fate of a lentil-sized, brainless embryo that has half a chance of dying on its own anyway, I choose me.”

Doctor’s considered abortion a “shameful practice”

Reporter Lauren Evans writes:

Even after abortions became legal, doctors shirked from the job, not wanting to wrap themselves up in what was largely considered a shameful practice.

Evans quotes Shauna Heckert, the Feminist Women’s Health Center abortion clinic’s executive director:

“This was not a situation where all of a sudden abortion became legal and all of a sudden a million doctors went, ‘Oh, I’m going to provide abortions,’

Abortion has always been stigmatized in the medical community.

Doctor sees living preborn child from ectopic pregnancy

Dr. Paul Rockwell of New York described a two month old fetus who was aborted due to a ruptured ectopic pregnancy:

“The tiny human was perfectly developed, with long tapering fingers, feet, and toes. It was almost transparent, as regards the skin, and the delicate arteries and veins were prominent to the ends of the fingers. The baby was extremely alive and swam about the sac approximately one time per second, with a natural swimmer’s stroke… When the sac was opened, the tiny human immediately lost its life.”

Abortionist complains about pro-life movement

Dr. John Parsons, in an interview from Kings College Hospital, London, The Universe, Sunday, March 2, 1997:

“The pro-life movement is having a negative impact on abortion. Sometimes women change their minds on the operating table and then we lose money! We have to run a cost-effective termination service. We have abortion on request now. It’s what I believe and what I practice. A woman has a right to abort – whether it’s to go on a skiing holiday or whether the fetus is disabled.”

Abortionist describes how a woman can go into shock during abortion

Abortionist Dr. Henry Morgantaler says that a woman can go into shock during an abortion. He says:

“Shock is a serious condition characterized by a loss of consciousness in an awake patient and by a substantial drop in blood pressure. It may be caused by an overreaction to pain during or after the procedure or by excessive anxiety and nervous tension. Usually under these conditions it does not last long and responds readily to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

When shock is the result of more serious causes, such as hemorrhage with excessive blood loss or perforation of the uterus, the appropriate measures to treat these complications are indicated and will get the patient out of shock.”

40% of pregnant teens didn’t tell parents about their abortions

According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, a pro-abortion research group, only 60% of pregnant teens tell their parents about their abortions.

This means that 40% of teens never notify their parents that they have had abortions.

This research is from the 1990’s, so it may not be accurate as of today (2018)

Abortionist comments on aborting couple

Abortionist Henry Morgantaler wrote about one couple who came to him for an abortion, which he did. He discusses the case of “Mary Ann” who, along with her boyfriend, is a medical student. They plan to marry:

“Their relationship is good and stable, but their careers are very important to them both and they feel that a failure in the birth control method they were using should not be allowed to alter their plans for the future. They intend to have two children, but much later on in their lives. Abortion seemed a logical solution to their problems…

When a couple chooses to prevent pregnancy by using a method of birth control and the method fails, it is logical for them to opt for abortion. When a woman is responsible enough to take precautions against pregnancy and these have failed, it is only fair and just that she be given the opportunity, through terminating her pregnancy, of setting right the accident.”
