Student Nurse gets pregnant, abortion workers urge abortion

British student nurse Amy Quinn worked in a hospital that did abortions for part of her training. She got pregnant while working there and says:

Falling pregnant myself while unmarried and not having finished training, while working on the ward, was predictably somewhat embarrassing. The trained staff were inquisitive and aghast, and there were hints that an abortion would be the logical step to take. One houseman who was friendly and whose wife was pregnant suggested he help me get “fixed up” so that I could finish my training without interruption. Presumably his expected baby was a loved individual, and mine was simply a barely-differentiated lump of lifeless cells. My only supporter on the ward, indeed the only person who didn’t see me as positively weird, was a first-year student nurse who had been adopted- she said she was glad I wasn’t having an abortion, because if her mother had not taken the same course, she wouldn’t be here now. Judy is a good example of the waste of life with abortion.”

Abortionist refuses to do abortions on women who would vote for Bush

From an article written about an abortionist:

“He insisted on educating the women he treated. In the election year of 1992, he would ask, in his soft voice, if they were registered to vote and the candidate they intended to vote for. If they answered “George Bush,” he would interrupt the procedure. “Why should I do this for you,” he would say, “if you’re going to vote for someone who wants to make it illegal?”

Tom Junod ““THE ABORTIONIST” GQ February 1994

After all, if abortion were made illegal, the abortionist would have to find another line of work. He is protecting his livelihood.

Abortionist: “Abortion providers are “hot”

From one abortion doctor:

“An unexpected side effect of the 2016 election is that many people have become vocal about their support for reproductive rights. Suddenly, dating an abortion provider can be cool, a way to proclaim one’s liberal street cred. I met an investment banker who was close to a decade younger than I am. For him, my profession seemed to add to the edginess of dating an older woman. There was the hard-partying Alaskan fisherman on an extended shore break, who found my commitment to reproductive justice “hot.” So, abortion providers are “hot” now?”

Abortionist claims anyone can do abortions

In an article in LifeNews, a pro-lifer who infiltrated a convention of abortion providers quoted an abortionist saying the following:

“Anyone can do an abortion with training,”

UK abortionist David Baird.

“He advocated training “mid-level professionals” in manual aspiration abortions, using a hand-held suction abortion machine called a manual vacuum aspirator.”

Undercover Reporter Infiltrates World Abortion Biz Conference LifeNews OCT 29, 2012

This seems to be a departure from the abortion industry’s propaganda on the dangers of illegal, back alley abortions. If abortion is so safe that anyone can perform one, why would thousands of women die if abortion clinics were shut down?

Late term abortion doctor: “You get burned out”

In an article in the Philadelphia Inquirer about babies born alive after abortions, journalists Liz Jeffries and Rick Edmonds wrote of a doctor who did late term abortions. The article says:

“The psychological wear-and-tear from doing late abortions is obvious. Philadelphia’s Dr. Bolognese, who seven years ago was recommending wrapping abortion live-borns in a towel, has stopped doing late abortions.”

Dr. Bolognese is quoted saying:

”You get burned out…It seemed kind of schizophrenic, to be doing that on the one hand [helping women with problem pregnancies to have babies] and do abortions.”

Abortionist: in the future, abortion will be “no big deal”

Dr. Timothy Black, abortionist, suggests that in the future, abortion will be very easy for women::

“In the future, women will be able to discover very quickly whether they are pregnant, and if they are and don’t want to be, will very quickly have an early abortion. Walk in, walk out, no big deal.”

After abortion, women drink champagne

Liz Deaves, abortion clinic director at Marie Stopes, describes what it’s like in the recovery room, at the end of the day after the women have all had abortions:

“You can feel the tension disappearing as they sit up in bed and chat with one another. Sometimes boyfriends bring champagne and there is an atmosphere of celebration.”

A former clinic worker, however, paints a very different picture of what women were like after their abortions.

No doctor–patient relationship in abortion

Former abortionist Robert Siudmack explains how there is no doctor–patient relationship in abortion clinics:

“I would like to believe all doctors share a genuine concern for the health and well-being of their patients. The doctor-patient relationship is [a] unique one that is started on the first visit and develops over the course of time. In an abortion clinic, there is no doctor – patient relationship. The doctor enters the room, there’s a brief introduction. The patient is already on the table ready to have the procedure done. There is no sort of opportunity for any sort of meaningful relationship to develop.”

Abortion worker: Sometimes men come to force women

An abortion clinic worker said:

Some men come in to be supportive, but some come to make sure the woman has the abortion – in other words to keep up the pressure on her.

Another abortion worker states:

Some of the saddest cases I have seen are where the woman wants the pregnancy but the man cannot face it.

Neither worker reveals what they do at their clinic when a woman comes in who is being pressured to abort.

Abortionist: abortion should be as simple as having a cup of coffee

Dr. Timothy Black, abortionist at Marie Stopes, talks about his hopes for the future of abortion:

“One day very soon, women will have their abortions, perfectly happily, in the morning, go out to lunch and spend the afternoon shopping. It will be as simple as having a cup of coffee.”
