“It wasn’t just getting rid of fetal tissue”

A woman considering an abortion did research on fetal development. She says:

“I started doing some research. I went around the hospitals and I started to see all the latest equipment and scans and all the rest of it.… I started seeing tiny little embryos and fetuses. And they didn’t look at all like lumps of tissue… that’s when I went through some enormous guilt about that last abortion. I just became incredibly miserable about it… I knew that I couldn’t have an abortion because I knew this time I would be killing a baby. It wasn’t just getting rid of fetal tissue…

She had her son and says:

“… the world would be a dimmer place without him. A sunny nature, a funny little boy, absolutely charming and delightful.”
