Katie Price is glad she didn’t abort her disabled son

Katie Price, model:

“I was young when I had Harvey and I admit it: If knew he was blind when I had him, as harsh as it sounds, I probably would have aborted him, because to me, oh my god its blind, how will I cope. Now if they said I was going to have a child with disabilities, I would definitely keep it. I would even adopt a child with disabilities … I absolutely love Harvey so much. I would never change anything about him.  Yes it’s challenging, but it’s also rewarding. He’s a great character and I love him. I don’t think anyone should be ashamed at all if they’ve got a child with disabilities.”

Later, when people took her remarks to mean she thinks she should have aborted:

Nancy Pelosi asked about killing a baby inside or outside the womb

From Rev. Frank Pavone, president of Priests for Life:

“In a June 13, 2013, press briefing, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, House Democratic leader, was asked, “What is the moral difference between what Dr. Gosnell did to a baby born alive at 23 weeks and aborting her moments before birth?” Pelosi refused to answer the question and chose instead to mock the reporter who asked it. Shamefully, she then took refuge in assertions about how seriously she practices her Catholic faith.

I wrote an open letter to Pelosi, asking her to stop misrepresenting the Catholic faith. I requested that she answer that abortion question honestly, admitting, if necessary, that she simply does not accept what the Church teaches. Tens of thousands of others signed the letter. Pelosi responded with contempt, saying that the letter was not “intellectual” in its approach but “hysterical.” And in my subsequent response, I pointed out that the beginning of an intellectual approach to this discussion is to answer the simple question that started the discussion…

The fact is that we all have to answer the question that was posed to Pelosi: what is the difference between killing a child just before birth or right afterward?

There is no way out of the question for the abortion industry or for any of us.”

It’s ok to kill both fetuses and infants, says article

“The moral status of an infant is equivalent to that of a fetus in the sense that both lack those properties that justify the attribution of a right to life to an individual.”

Abortion clinic owner almost passes out watching first abortion

Abortion clinic owner Norma Goldberger:

“I watched my first abortion that visit and I’m embarrassed to admit I almost passed out. It was the first and last time I was ever queasy in an abortion. I wondered if it was from having eaten a good lunch and/or having milk laden breasts. Over my working career I have held women’s hands during thousands of abortions and never again felt faint.”

Abortionist thinks his patients are stupid

Norma Goldberger, who was planning on opening up her own abortion facility, requested to see an abortion procedure at a busy center. She recounts this conversation:

I heard the clinic director explains to the physician, “There’s this really smart woman here that wants to see an abortion.” The doctor paying half attention responded, “If she’s so smart then why is she here?”

I realized at that moment that he assumed I was there for an abortion and he felt birth control failure was the result of being a dumb woman.

Not all the doctors performing abortions are feminists.

Clinic workers make “obscene gestures” at prolifers

Abortion clinic owner Norma Goldberger describes how they handled prolife demonstrators at the facility. One day there was a new pro-lifer acting as leader of the protesters. The man never been to the clinic before. Normally, the protests were led by a man named Farley. This is what Goldberger says the abortion workers did:

We decided to stand on the inside of the front glass door facing the leader and stare at his crotch. We made hand gestures indicating that what was there must be very, very small.… It worked. A few minutes of that tactic and the Farley substitute left and his entire group left with their leader. Best of all, he never returned to our clinic.

Actress Margot Kidder on abortion

Actress Margot Kidder:

“Abortion might be killing a life. But if there is a sin, it is the sin that we adults perpetuate on the children of the earth – who truly are innocent and defenseless – by bringing those children into the world when they will not be cared for.”

Reporters lie about pro-life demonstration

Pro-lifer Rev. Richard Welch talked about a demonstration he attended:

“I went with my mother and a group of about 4000 pro-lifers and we staged a protest outside the Statehouse in Annapolis.… There were about 5 or 6 people there, who we would now characterize as feminist extremists, who were protesting in favor of abortion.

That night something would happen that I never forgot. On the evening news, 75% of the coverage went to those 4 or 5 proabortionists. All of the interviews were with them, and they even filmed them in such a way that the large group of pro-lifers in the background appeared to be with them.

The reporters outright lied: they said that there were as many proabortion demonstrators as there were pro-lifers. I presumed that what you saw on TV was the truth. It completely changed the way I viewed the American media… Since that time, I’ve had many experiences where the press purposely lied about the abortion issue. Many people don’t realize what they are getting when they watch the evening news – even on shows with allegedly high standards, such as “60 minutes,” where many of the segments are staged and set up.”

Abortion clinic offers “Mother’s Day Special”

About an abortion clinic in China:

Just 3 years ago i did participant observation with women getting abortions and on the day we came here in May 2009, there was a big red banner:

“Mother’s Day Special – discounts on abortions.”

We found out that only the least bloody abortions were discounted. The bloodier the abortion, the less expensive and more affordable, but those are also the most invasive.

The participant I was with chose a less expensive package so she didn’t advantage of the Mother’s Day discount. After they performed the procedure, they gave her the option of buying food, like milk and bread, all of which were pre-packaged. The nurses tried to get her to buy the more expensive food products, telling her that it would help her heal.
