Abortion is best choice even if you are sad, says clinic

Website of Allegheny Reproductive Health center, an abortion clinic:

“We recognize that your heart may be sad even though you know this is the best choice for you. You may even feel like crying. Some decisions women make are very difficult, and abortion can be one of them.”

Planned Parenthood on why patients should take pill at home

Vicki Breitbart, director of the Clinician Training Initiative, a division of Planned Parenthood of New York City that trains hundreds of private and clinic-based abortion providers, on why women should not have to come back to the office to take the abortion pill:

“For the providers, having a woman in the office to take some pills—and sometimes abort there—could be inconvenient. “If a patient has to come back to the clinic, that means that she’ll need to stay in the office for several hours.”

SHARON LERNER “Abortion’s New Choice” The Village Voice OCTOBER 3, 2000

Is the convenience of the doctors the reason Planned Parenthood sends women whom to take the second pill and abort their babies despite health risks?

Abortion pictures on cell phone save a baby

A woman at the Priests For Life website told this story:

“Our son has on his cell phone, pictures of aborted babies. Around a week or two ago he shared with us something that happened at his place of employment. He was around some girls more or less his age and they were talking about the woman’s right to choose. One was a very strong believer in the woman’s right to choose. He got into a little debate. Margaret Sanger’s name came in. Finally his cell phone was popped open with the pictures of the aborted babies, thanks to God, and he was used to share what pro-choice and abortion really is. One of the girls there was shocked, and she asked for the pictures to be sent to her cell phone. …. Anyway, another day at his job, the shocked girl told my son that she was pregnant and is keeping her baby. Thank and really thanks to God!”

Abortionist ignores woman’s tears

Abortion patient Jenn Farnum:

“I have no idea how long it took. It felt like a lifetime. Only once the doctor talked to me. He said, ‘Are you crying because it hurts, or because you’re emotional?’

When I said emotional, he just turned around and kept on talking to the nurse.”

Woman leaves clinic after her eighth abortion

The Illinois Review had the following story about a conversation between a pro-life sidewalk counselor and the sister of a woman going in for an abortion:

“A prolife counselor greeted each person coming up to the clinic, and told them about a free ultrasound and other resources for their child. His gentleness sometimes elicited a response, and one woman, after checking her sister into the clinic, came back to talk.

She wanted to know if we had any advice on sterilization. She said she knew her sister would never talk to us, but she needed help: this was her eighth abortion. A tall, spare woman, she nervously crossed and recrossed the street several times, always clutching her purse to her arm. Finally she asked us if we knew where she could get a drink. When the procedure was finally done, she pulled her car into the clinic’s narrow lot and helped wheel her sister down toward the car. When the wheelchair was as close as possible, she helped her sister stand and move into the front seat. The woman was visibly in pain; she walked deliberately, seemed drugged or extremely tired, and slumped into the front seat.”

Pro-abortion activists make their point with talking embryo

A pro-abortion website that complains about the lack of availability of the abortion pill (RU-486) uses a cartoon of an (apparently suicidal) talking embryo:

The website, entitled  “RU-4Choice? : Ethical Abortion” can be found here

Incidentally, most babies aborted in the United States are far more developed than the picture implies

Abortionists would rather poison a baby than dismember her

There are two ways to do late-term abortion – by injecting poison to kill the baby and then inducing labor or by going in and dismembering the baby with forceps. Some abortionists prefer the poisoning (induction) method, because they don’t have to be there when the mother expels her dead child.

“With respect to second trimester abortion, providers seek to distance themselves from an unpleasant procedure: physicians prefer medical abortions (where they need not be present at the expulsion of the fetus) and nurses prefer D&E procedures (where the physician does the “distasteful” surgery).”

Beverly Winikoff, Acceptability of First Trimester Medical Abortion (New York: The Population Council, 1994)

Woman chooses not to abort 35 week twins

abby-aboutFormer abortion clinic director Abby Johnson wrote the following facebook post on 4/6/2016:

UPDATE!! The mother who was scheduled to abort her 35 week old twins has made a choice for life! She is back on schedule to deliver and place her twins with an adoptive family. Thank you all so much for your prayers. Please keep this whole situation in your continued prayers as this expectant mother is dealing with a lot of pressure in the final weeks of her pregnancy.

Also, please pray for the conversion of Dr. Curtis Boyd, the abortion doctor who was scheduled to take the lives of these babies today.

This quote shows that abortion is available at 35 weeks. To read more about late-term abortions, go here.

Doctor: “There’s a stigma attached to abortion”

From a doctor who does some abortions:

“I hate doing [abortions], but I do them every once in a while. But the real reason we try to avoid then is that I don’t want to be known as a local abortionist. I want to be known as a doctor who loves mommies and their babies. I don’t care what is said, there’s a stigma attached to doing abortions.”
