Pro-Choice environmentalist wishes for deadly virus

Pro-Choice writer David M Graber writes about how the planet would be better off with fewer people. He says “the right virus” should develop that would kill people.

“Human happiness and certainly human fecundity are not as important as a wild and healthy planet… [Nature has] intrinsic value, more value to me than another human body or a billion of them… Until such time as Homo sapiens should decide to rejoin nature, some of us can only hope for the right virus to come along.”

Medical Journal says scientists dissected aborted babies

An article in the Journal of Clinical Pathology describes how the bodies of aborted babies were cut up for body parts, which were then shipped to researchers around the world:

“Fetuses are collected within the London area and brought back to the hospital as rapidly as possible for immediate dissection by surgical theatre techniques in a sterile room…Each fetus is given a number, and the tissues are distributed, the names of each of the recipients being recorded.”

Counselor says that half of relationships break up after abortion

Bruce Rappaport is the program director of the Men’s Support Center, an abortion counseling organization. He has experience counseling men whose partners have had abortions. According to Rappaport, although they’ve done no official study, counselors at his centers have found that half of all relationships break up after the woman has an abortion.

Rappaport said this in an article he wrote for Mademoiselle:

If animals feel pain, what about preborn babies?

Many people who deny that aborted babies feel pain nevertheless believe animals feel pain. The brain of an preborn baby, even two months after conception, is as developed or more developed than those of many animals.  Professor of Perinatal Medicine Sir Albert William Liley testified on fetal pain:

“One of the problems about pain is that it is a peculiarly subjective and personal phenomenon. There is no biochemical or physiological test you can do to tell if anyone is in pain…But by the same token we have no proof that animals feel pain; we only infer that they do. But it seems charitable to infer that, otherwise there would be no point in having societies for the prevention of cruelty to animals…And in that regard I am prepared to charitably assume that the baby before birth feels pain because I would be reluctant to extend consideration to animals that I would withhold from a human.”

This preborn baby is capable of reacting to touch and moving independently. If someone assumes that fish and frogs feel pain, but a baby this developed (still in the first trimester) does not, are they being consistent?

Abortionist refuses to do abortions on women who would vote for Bush

From an article written about an abortionist:

“He insisted on educating the women he treated. In the election year of 1992, he would ask, in his soft voice, if they were registered to vote and the candidate they intended to vote for. If they answered “George Bush,” he would interrupt the procedure. “Why should I do this for you,” he would say, “if you’re going to vote for someone who wants to make it illegal?”

Tom Junod ““THE ABORTIONIST” GQ February 1994

After all, if abortion were made illegal, the abortionist would have to find another line of work. He is protecting his livelihood.

Medical textbook on fetal pain

From a textbook on the development of the human brain:

“Lip tactile response may be evoked by the end of the seventh week. By 10.5 weeks, the palms of the hands are responsive to light stroking with a hair, and at 11 weeks, the face and all parts of the upper and lower extremities are sensitive to touch. By 13.5 to 14 weeks, the entire body surface, except for the back and top of the head, are sensitive to pain.

Abortionist’s daughter: “he is sadder now”

The daughter of one abortionist said:

“It’s sort of sad, that society has forced him into this. He seems like a sadder person now than when his practice was delivering a lot of babies.”

Mother of child with down syndrome: “No life is in vain.”

The mother of a child with down syndrome wrote:

“I… gave birth to a severely retarded child. Even though I would not have chosen Joey 12 years ago today, today I love him as my special son…

If we chose only that which appeared important or undemanding, I doubt if much would be accomplished or much love would be radiated in our lives. If not for my retarded son, I would not be defending the handicapped. Perhaps that’s his purpose for life. I don’t believe any life, regardless of its potential, is in vain.

Most handicapped persons don’t have a problem of being handicapped; their problem is society’s acceptance of them and their handicap…”

Botched abortion of 7 month old baby puts teen in hospital

A pro-life book tells the story of a 16 year-old-woman who had a botched abortion.

“Francine,” age 16, went to the All Women’s Health Center for an abortion in August 1986. Abortionist Harold Ticton estimated the pregnancy at 3 months.

Upon removing the baby’s arm, he realized that the boy was actually 7 months. He stopped the procedure, but did not transport Francine to the hospital for 7 hours. Francine had the dead fetus removed by C-section, was admitted to the intensive care unit, and was hospitalized for over a week.

7  months, 28 weeks

An autopsy on the 28 week young baby attributed death to “partial dismemberment due to the suctioning during the abortion.” Tiction blamed Francine, saying that she gave him a wrong date for her last period, which led him to miscalculate the pregnancy as 12 weeks rather than 28 weeks. The following news agencies reported the story:
