Performing abortions is “fun” and “joyful”

Cindy Pearson, an advocate of women performing “do-it-yourself” abortions, said the following about performing abortions:

“this is so fun; this is so great, that we can do this ourselves … It’s just joyful.”

Abortion doctors “ignore” patients

“Some doctors tended to initiate small talk with the counselors and essentially ignore the patients: most counselors felt that this was insensitive: “she’s lying on the table having an abortion… She doesn’t want to hear what you did with your boyfriend last weekend.”

Abortionist Kept Dead Babies in Storage Unit

Joseph Booker Jr., abortionist, kept bags of aborted babies as souvenirs in a storage unit. LifeNews tells the story:

“In December 1999, three dozen bags of aborted fetuses and other remains were found buried in a shallow grave behind a business in the Gulf Coast city of Ocean Springs. An investigation revealed that the fetuses came from a storage room Booker had rented in nearby Gulfport, a city where he had performed abortions at a gynecology clinic….

Someone purchased the contents of the storage unit, sight unseen, at auction and moved the items to a storage unit in Ocean Springs. Some of the items smelled and the new owner directed an employee to get rid of them, apparently not knowing they were fetuses.”

Pro-Child, Pro-Family, Pro-Choice

3-D sonogram of 10 week old unborn child

From pro-choice author Sarah Erdreich:

“I remember a button that my mother had when I was young, 3 words in white font on a magenta background: “Pro-Child, Pro-Family, Pro-Choice.” To me, that seems to sum up the entire pro-choice argument very succinctly: it was not about being anti-children, it was about supporting families, children, and choices.”

Accurate figures on how many 2nd and 3rd trimester abortions are done are elusive, says writer

“Accurate figures on 2nd and 3rd trimester abortions are elusive because A number of states don’t require doctors to report abortion statistics. For example, one third of all abortions are said to occur in California, but the state has no reporting requirements.”

Some women don’t realize they’re pregnant until late in pregnancy, says pro-choice author

Pro-choicers argue that women who have late-term abortions are all carrying wanted pregnancies until they discover that their babies have horrible disabilities and that they “must” abort. However, late-term abortionists have admitted that many of their patients have no health problems and are carrying healthy babies. Former clinic workers have also revealed this. They did not know they were pregnant right difficulty making arrangements. Pro-choice author Mary Pipes  explains why some women do not realize they are pregnant until many months have passed.

“Women who have irregular periods – because they have only recently begun to menstruate or are approaching the menopause or who have irregular or long cycles – may not receive any indication that they are pregnant for some time because they do not expect to menstruate on a particular day. Furthermore some of the symptoms of pregnancy, such as swollen breasts, irritability, abdominal pain and tiredness, are very similar to premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and we may often think that we are about to start bleeding… It is possible that bleeding may occur and be confused with a period. Although this bleeding is usually short, if it is unaccompanied by any other symptoms we can be unaware of having conceived for several months.”

Clinic escort: We present abortion in the “cheeriest” way, “Roses, sunshine, and unicorns”

Many pro-choice activists know that despite the pro-choice movement’s propaganda that abortion is beneficial to women, at least some women suffer from ambivalence before their abortions and grief afterwards. According to one abortion clinic escort:

“The emotionally honest approach is to acknowledge the ambivalence [of women having abortions], to acknowledge all of the complex bouquet of feelings and emotions that comes out of this decision. That’s the emotionally honest approach. But I completely understand the flipside, which is the knee-jerk reaction, where we’re under attack by all these anti-choicers, we have to present the cheeriest side, just for PR sake, we have to present women who are relieved. They’ve made a tough decision, they made the best of a bad situation, but now they’re relieved that everything is fine and happy and roses and sunshine and unicorns because that’s how to present it public relations wise.”

Many studies have documented that women do suffer after their abortions, that there is a higher rate of substance abuse, depression, psychiatric hospitalizations, and suicide in women who have had abortions. In fact, teenagers who have had abortions are 10 times more likely to commit suicide that teenagers who have not

Abortion is not all “unicorns, sunshine and roses” by any means. And this is what it does to an unborn child

Alexander Sanger: “Reproductive Freedom” more valuable than free speech and religion

Alexander Sanger, abortion advocate and descendent of Planned Parenthood founder and controversial figure Margaret Sanger, said the following:

“Reproductive freedom is vital to humanity. It is even more vital than all the other freedoms that we cherish – freedom of religion, freedom of thought and speech, and the freedom to live our lives as we see fit. Humanity has these freedoms, or should have them, because they add to human happiness and make for a better world. So does reproductive freedom.”

Is the right to kill children like him really more important than the right to freedom of religion, freedom of speech, etc.?
