Clinic worker: “abortion can bother you mentally”

Tonya, a former clinic worker who is not, to my knowledge, pro-life, said the following in a book she wrote:

“You have some women who really don’t think about what they are doing when they make a decision like this. It really isn’t a walk through the park because this can bother you mentally. Just like a woman who has had a miscarriage, you can get very emotional.”

Planned Parenthood on how a baby is made

Planned Parenthood released a pamphlet on contraception in 1973 that said:

“One sperm plus one egg = one baby.”

Planned Parenthood/World Population pamphlet entitled”ABCs of Birth Control,” 1973, page 4.

Interesting that they would acknowledge this. I don’t think you would find such a candid admission from PP nowadays.

Christian man to pregnant girlfriend: convert to my religion or you must abort

A Christian man got his girlfriend pregnant and urged her to have an abortion. He said that he would marry her and let her have the baby only if she would convert to Christianity for him. However, she was hesitant, not wanting to embrace a religion for the wrong reasons. Therefore, he continued to pressure her to have an abortion. He was afraid, he said, what his church would think. And even though he was fine having sex with her, he would not marry a woman who was not a Christian. The woman said:

After he left, I had a dream last night. In my dream, we (I and my BF) were preparing to go to the clinic. All of a sudden, I heard a noise from my bedroom. Somehow, I had given birth, our baby was there. He had such beautiful, blue eyes. I told my BF:”Look, we can’t go to to abortion. I already gave a birth.” Everything was so real.

This dream really hit me when I woke up. I felt like that I wanted to keep my baby, but on the other hand the clock was ticking, and we had an appointment to go. I called my best friend in TX and told her my dream. I was crying my eyes out. Literally…

Then, my BF came to take me. On the way, we kept talking about it. All he was concerned about what his people in his church would think about him, his image…I know that he also felt bad too. When we went there, I was still trying to convince him that I want to keep the baby, but I wouldn’t want to be a single mother and was asking for his help. At this point he said that “Nina, don’t think it’s be so difficult to convert.” I just told him he didn’t know what he was talking about, this is not even his territory that he was trying to enter. I told him that “I am not saying that I am not going to convert, but I just don’t know when and how. I need time. I can’t commit because I simply don’t know. I don’t wanna tell you sweet lies just to get what I want. I am already under pressure with this issue, why to put more pressure on me?” At some point, he told me “you don’t wanna do this. I don’t wanna do this. We don’t belong to this place.” I said “no we don’t. I wanna keep the baby. However, I am an honorable woman who deserves marriage, and I don’t want a mistress life.” He said “Nina, I can’t promise you either. I can’t marry you unless you convert.” Then, they called my name. We just looked at each others’ face in fear and doubt. I had to go, and I did. He could have stopped me, but he didn’t. I went to upstairs, changed my clothes. When I went to restroom, I looked at the mirror in doubt. What am I doing here?” I even thought to dress up and go back and leave the place, but it was just too late.

Sadly, she had an abortion.

Planned Parenthood’s “40 Days of Prayer” mocks “40 Days for Life”

Planned Parenthood did its own takeoff of the pro-life “40 days for life” with “40 days of Prayer Supporting Women Everywhere” that was prayer for abortion. Here is one of the prayers they recommended:

“We give thanks for the doctors who provide quality abortion care.”

· We pray for a cloud of gentleness to surround every abortion facility.”

· We pray for all the staff at abortion clinics around the nation. May they be daily confirmed in the sacred care that they offer women.”

Others:

– We give thanks and celebrate that abortion is still safe and legal.”

– We give thanks for abortion escorts who guide women safely through the hostile gauntlets of protesters.”

– We pray for women who have been made afraid of their own power [of choice, i.e. abortion] by their religion. May they learn to reject fear and live bravely.”

Faith Aloud is the group that wrote the prayers. Infamous late term abortionist Dr. Leroy Carhart is a member of the board.

A somewhat old statistic. Make of it what you will.

Clinic worker: I “wasn’t proud” about working there

One clinic worker, who later left her job, said:

“When you say abortion, people think about killing babies and why such a decision. So this isn’t the kind of job to go around broadcasting about cause you can get all kinds of comments, looks, and questions

So I don’t like to comment on it, so I don’t talk about where I work, because to be truthful about it, I wasn’t proud about it.”

Former Planned Parenthood worker “young girls came in with their abusers”

Cathy Anthony Adair is a former Planned Parenthood worker who gave an interview to clinicquotes here. In an article in The National Catholic Register, she shares what inspired her to come forward with her story:

I was present when young girls came in with their abusers and Planned Parenthood performed their abortions. When Live Action came out with their videos, I felt vindicated. I knew it to be true, and they showed it to be true. That allowed me, for the first time, to tell others what I had experienced.
