“A second trimester D&E abortion is a blind procedure. The baby can be in any orientation or position inside the uterus. Picture yourself reaching in with the Sopher clamp and grasping anything you can. At twenty weeks gestation, the uterus is thin and soft so be careful not to perforate or puncture the walls. Once you have grasped something inside, squeeze on the clamp to set the jaws and pull hard – really hard. You feel something let go and out pops a fully formed leg about 4 to 5 inches long. Reach in again and grasp whatever you can. Set the jaw and pull really hard once again and out pops an arm about the same length. Reach in again and again with that clamp and tear out the spine, intestines, heart and lungs.
The toughest part of a D&E abortion is extracting the baby’s head. The head of a baby that age is about the size of a plum and is now free floating inside the uterine cavity. You can be pretty sure you have hold of it if the Sopher clamp is spread about as far as your fingers will allow. You will know you have it right when you crush down on the clamp and see a pure white gelatinous material issue from the cervix. That was the baby’s brains. You can then extract the skull pieces. If you have a really bad day like I often did, a little face may come out and stare back at you.”

am 5 months pregnant was doing a research on the internet now if its possible to terminate a months pregnancy when I saw those pictures up there i realized I cannot do it.am keeping my baby…
I have not had an abortion and used to feel very pro-life about it but recently I started questioning my beliefs. These pictures are indeed sad as we tend to get emotional about the sight of the physical body/baby but there’s more to life than the physical/material. I now think it’s truly an individual choice and we have to reserve our judgements, period!
Jesse – Several Questions for you. 1. All things being equal, would you rather be placed in a womb that is pro-life or pro-abortion? 2. If you have children, have you told them of your comment in this site which would potentially place them in a womb of death? 3. So are you saying that you are fine with the complete barbaric treatment of yourself and your children per numbers 1 and 2? 4. If the horrific death of the most helpless doesn’t stir reasonable emotions within you – what does? Looking forward to your response.

Abortion is so horrible the images I saw is so sickening that it’s hard to believe that any women could do this for any reason the tiny bones and obviously real human beings no person in this world could deny that it’s wrong.
What if having the child endangered the life of the mother? If she carried it to term, what if she died?
